Local Area

Deviock Barns Cottages are situated about 5 miles North East of Bodmin on the edges of Cardinham Woods  and Bodmin Moor. It is an ideal place for walkers, cyclists and families to explore and enjoy the local countryside.

On the farm you are welcome to come and meet the animals. As a retired primary school teacher, Theresa is happy to show new enthusiasts her daily rounds, collecting eggs, feeding the donkeys and milking goats!

Lanhydrock House is easily reached from us. This beautiful Victorian National Trust Property is well preserved and has a nice tearoom and family events during the season. There are also gardens and woodland to explore – the trails are popular for walkers and novice to experienced cyclists.
